1. The service
Aikiyam provides a hiring intelligence service: structured evaluation of professional work and the delivery of Signal Profiles to hiring companies. Aikiyam provides evidence to support hiring decisions. Aikiyam does not make employment decisions, does not guarantee hiring outcomes, and does not act as an employment agency.
2. Company responsibilities
Companies remain solely responsible for their hiring decisions, including compliance with applicable employment and anti-discrimination law. Signal Profiles are confidential, are provided for the specific role and engagement only, and may not be shared outside the agreed hiring panel or used for any other purpose. Companies agree to provide the structured outcome feedback described in their engagement terms.
3. Professional responsibilities
Professionals agree to provide truthful information during evaluations and not to disclose confidential or proprietary information belonging to current or former employers. Evaluators will redirect such disclosures.
4. Fees
Fees — including the Workspace fee and Outcome Fees — are set out in the applicable engagement agreement. Outcome Fees apply to any hire originating from an Aikiyam evaluation within the period stated in that agreement.
5. Intellectual property
Aikiyam retains all rights in its methodology, evaluation frameworks, software, and the structure of the Signal Profile. Companies receive a limited licence to use delivered Signal Profiles for the agreed engagement. Individuals retain rights in their own professional information.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aikiyam’s aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim. Aikiyam is not liable for hiring outcomes or decisions made by companies.
7. Termination
Either party may end an engagement as set out in the engagement agreement. Sections concerning confidentiality, fees accrued, intellectual property, and liability survive termination.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
